Our water and sanitation programmes began in 2005, after identifying some of the places where the need was greatest and where we could work alongside local partners - both churches and charities - who shared our passion.
Since that time, we've been able to provide over 220,000 people with access to clean water and sanitation across Ethiopia, Liberia, Niger, Mozambique and Uganda. In addition, over 1 million people have been given access to clean water through the work of Samaritan's Purse projects run by our Canada, USA and Australia offices.
Much of this has been achieved thanks to the efforts of over 25,000 people who have walked and done many other great things to raise funds for Turn on the Tap.
